Design of Headlines/Payoff lines
A good headline and the right pay-off line can be crucial to the success of an advertising message, given that they are in harmony with the words and images.

Not everyone knows that the word “headline” is often used as an alternative for the better-known term “slogan”, derived from ancient Gaelic and meaning “war-cry”. In fact, an advertisement which is carefully designed should produce much the same effect as shouting a message to the world.

The payoff line, used to conclude the advertisement, is designed to promote the qualities of the product or the image of the company.
